Normally we wouldn't even bother putting something on public forums, but we figured it might save some crying next reset.

We've listened to everyone's whining regrading cross retalling. RD thinks the argument against x-retalling is ridiculous, however a lot of you feel quite strongly regarding it. So here is how you can expect RD to retal in the coming resets.

1:kill

You all cry about x-retalling and we don't want to continue wasting time on that debate. You won ;) We understand that x-retals are not considered fair so we'll stick to x-kills. This has been shown to be acceptable and we aim to please. If you are dumb enough to hit RD, we'll kill your country.

We may from time to time consider retalling a LG with just a LG or two, but that will only be in special circumstances. Expect that if you hit RD you won't log into your country.

You'll know our tags each reset.

RD looks forward to future resets with you all ;)

If RD LG's a team, that team has the right to make a retal back. Now if that said team makes 2 retals, the player will be unable to login the next day.

Over-retals will not be tolerated. I don't feel that this is an RD exclusive policy either.

You said crosskilling is generally accepted in war, everybody is doing it.

So, we'll consider every incoming hit as an act of war and will declare war on that enemy country.

We're just playing according to the rules you made up. You instituted this.

We never condoned cross-killing, nor instituted it. We fought against cross-retaling in a war that got triggered by the opposing side cross-killing when we did not accept their cross retals.

Im curious how you are going to be able to enforce these new silly policies.

I mean RD has barely 3 teams at the moment, but just for simplicity sake lets say there are 15 of you ie three full teams.

All it would take is for you guys to get into a fight with RAG or LOT and you'd be done for that reset. Not to mention all the others that will be happy to pitch in as soon as you are looking to be going down.

Im just stuggling to see how youll manage this, fair enough it might be good fun fight for you no matter what and maybe thats all you want. But if you are going to win this youd need a lot more teams.

I mean multies and bots are not going to be possible for you anymore. And in the end thats all that made RD anywhere near scary back in the old days...

See previous posts where you say crosskilling is generally accepted. So now when we start playing according to the general policies and not crossretalling anymore, it's still not good?

Yes Braden but seriously all it takes is 3-4 teams deciding to do something and that takes RD out of the equation.

I dont see that as impossible in the least even if I sit idly by and watch the show. RD is smaller compared to the combined MKR/BEER tags that already tried this malarky...

Well Lime if you are hiding a few more teams then lets double your numbers. Lets say there are 30 RD members out there. Even that will not add up to the total of what MKR and BEER were and they didnt manage to pull this off.

Yep I vaguely remember something along those lines. But most of all I remember the bots and the multies.

But that was in a different game and many years ago. These days Im not so worried about that aspect of things at least. Im sure Pangea and others are going to be watching that part like a hawk so no need to fuss about that at least.

I have no problem with you guys playing and having some fun trying to start some wars. It might be amusing to watch.

I just disagree with the way you go about it and how you try to claim the moral high ground when quite clearly you are being far worse than what you claim to oppose. :)
