Hey guys I was wondering what strategy is best for attacking?

Very generally I'd say tyranny techer... 1 turn per attack and +20% attack gains, plus you can tech up your mstrat and weapons easily enough... I had fun with that in express a few sets. Not great endgame options though.

If you're going warring it's probably better not to do techer so you can maintain an economy while fighting.. mon indy -> tyr indy (or farmer) would probably be better.

Dict works well but is slow to develop. Mon indy -> dict indy (or farmer again). Less flexible than tyranny though.

It really depends what server and how you're planning to attack.

Either tyranny techer or dictator casher.

if youre new(which it looks like you are) I suggest a Dict/Farmer with 10% Industries producing 100% spies(once you hit 10000 acres, indies should be built on a 10:1 ratio)

farmers work very well for wargaining, meaning you produce goods while attacking.

Techers work great *IF* you have a good stockpile of tech to sell off while warring.

tyr farmer or dict farmer, if you plan to build your land then tyr if not then which suits your plans better.

I appreciate all the feedback! I played earth 2025 for a year or so before they ended it. Didn't hear of earth empires until now ,The strat I use will generally land me in top 100 or so but I'm wondering how to move on up? I wasn't an attacker before so I assume that will help?

you'll need good def (and most likely sdi) to keep most of land you grab.

farmer allows more money spent on stocking bushels/buying mil instead techs (if wants to keep tech levels high).

I use a casher strat now ,but it takes so long to get it going the set is nearly over by the time I am making money. Maybe it is how I set it up. Where is a good place to find some strats like u guys are talking about? And do most of the top players land grab or do they rely on their country solely?

Casher is all about buying tech as early as possible. Cash starts are helpful but complicated. You don't miss out by much if you do a farm start or an Indy start before converting to casher.

indy start gives early def which helps a bit against early landgrabbers.

How do u guys feel about mixed strats ? I was thinking of starting indy like Marshal said then switching to a tyranny farmer and maybe doing some landgrabs along the way?

if you plan goto farmer then farm start saves hassle.

So your saying just to start farming right out of the gate and buy my military instead of indy first? How do I know how many jets to send versus their turrets? Is there any calculators like their was before I cant find any? And I'm looking for some stats on what troops and etc are netpoint worth? They are different from the old stats I have. def power had big debate a while ago how to calc it.

vipers: I meant that if you plan to go farmer then it might be better build some indies to produce spies and rest to farms and buy mil you need/want.

Man it is tough farming. Its hard to keep military up .

you would need better tgts.
