Quite few TIEer are left, some of them are in LaF like me and
I was in TIE from 2001 to 2014 and we could net and fight even with cheating asians (Ant wasn't asian), I think there were some of them, but many Dutch, Finnish and Swedish players, most of from US.
I should keep my fingers out of this, but I am European and I have personally met those refugees...
Most of them are not young men with iPhones. I have seen families with children, old people and so on.

Seriously I think amount of leaving (%) people has been probably same for years, but the game is not enough interesting for new players so the balance is negative.
