If I recall the gravitational bend of light actually makes it possible to see "behind" celestial bodies to a small degree. So with the right equipment one could see objects (planets/stars/etc.) that should actually be blocked from line of sight.

TL,DR: We can see stars behind the sun.

Hmm...

It might be cool to have an express set where luck was adjusted like that. Maybe as the set progressed event occurrence increased, making the last hours of the set absolutely chaotic.

It is good playing a casher and seeing turrets consistently under 110

Poor guy was probably spending that time calculating the precise amount of offense he would need to win.

If they are in GDI then they are not the same person or using a significantly different strat. (If you can call sending unprovoked missiles to random people a "strat.")

Besides doesn't declaring WAR bypass all GDI restrictions?

Well, I for one will remember 48, and from now on anyone I see with England in their country name will be getting surprise missiles from me.

What the heck? I just logged in to find 3 NM from #48 (unprovoked as far as I can tell.) Oh well, I know who to dedicate all of MY turns to this set.

Guess I'll try to remember to sign up for GDI before making my first attacks next round.

Sounds good, perhaps the fairest GDI implementation possible on Express.
