maybe you haven't been through any cheating scandal before, or had your clan/guild mass deleted when you yourself were innocent, but i have. and what we need to do if we want to keep this game clean is keep an eye on them for a while and allow them to build up a reputable future for themselves.

warring them non stop for the next 12 months or making them disband will only hide the problem under the rug. in the end if the other clans all the way from LaF to DANGER act in a way that shows this server still has some honor then RD will by proxy work to fit into the same category.

all i'm suggesting is that with some oversight from the server, and transparency from RD they can become a part of the community again. a hard line on cheaters is needed, but they other members of the clan who had no knowledge, and yes i do believe not everyone knew what happened, deserve a chance to be redeemed and play in an honest way. the punishment by the admins was swift and fair, but it is up to the clans now to decide the future of the game

here is a thought for the investigation.

and i honestly believe that this would be best for all involved.

yes RD appears to have done the wrong thing. but the investigation is on going. would it not be acceptable to give RD a 2 set non aggression treaty with all clans. 1 set for the investigation (i'm sure it won't take that long but it would give plenty of time to be thorough) and 1 set after that to get them selves sorted out without other clans trying to take advantage of them.

during this investigation where all clans agree not to take further action allow 1 person, from each clan who agrees to the treaty, be allowed to have access to RD to monitor the situation and preform their investigation, with the group of investigators sharing what they find on a third party site like boxcar or GHQ.

after the investigation allow negotiations to resume on higher pact levels and give the membership of RD time to recover from all of this.

as such no clan would be able to claim the investigation was biased in any way. and all clans would be able to openly say if RD are serious about change or just blowing hot air.

as i understand it the hacking was done from a specific IP address, or set of addresses, that are link to RD players. i wasn't around during the LaF thing to comment on it. but if RD players are upset over their treatment in my view they should be looking at those people who are implicated in this scandal.

it is not a matter of you didn't do anything wrong, RD has and will always have a reputation for cheating. if you join a clan with that sort of a reputation there is always the risk that if someone in the clan gets implicated in a scandal like this that you will personally be affected.

be it right or wrong that you were involved directly or indirectly is not the point. the point is, as i view it, sending a message that this behavior will not be tolerated.

be thankful that you as a player are only being inconvenienced by this as much as all the other players who have lost access to their clan site, rather than having a permaban slapped in your face.

stupid acts like this and the nature of the clans at the moment are why i only check in here every now and then to make fun at the wars rather than playing a country anymore

i agree that would help in most situations, but in a stonewalling situation, with attack runs often lasting around a minute that is the difference between walling and just being dead/no building lef

it happened to a clanmate of mine twice in the last set

it only annoys me since it happened while i was being attacked. other people have logged on while being attacked only to have captcha appear and died because they can't log in quickly. i understand why captcha is important, especially since some old players had bots to defend for them, but perhaps there needs to be some balance brought in, i'm no expert but players suffering for this kind of thing doesn't seem right

at approx 4.30 this morning game time i tried to login to defend myself from an attack run. the page would not allow me to login, my details for password and login are all correct but it would not allow me to login. now thanks to that i'm trying to run a country back up from being a parking lot. this is not the first time this error has shown up, i know several players have reported this bug and yet still nothing has been done to fix this. so thank you, for doing nothing and helping make my country a parkinglot

i've never heard of a more pointless war. as for putting alliances on DNH for war, i think a group of 6 people hardly count as an alliance.
