I AM in favor of banning everyone without 6 figues and a 120+ IQ. Poor people should focus on their work instead of being online and dumb people should just hide in a corner so I can pretend they don't exist.

Add women and long term propery ownership and you've fixed voting too.

Some notes about this suggestion
1) people log into coop and spam bots, what it's done in reality it's push that time later in the set when people have more econ built. So the spamming is actually more concentrated, not less.
2) current coop meta is lower skill, at least compared to alliance.

Of course if the community gets smarter or dumber on average that ideal numbers change.

Like was said you don't have to pay the "tax" if you don't want to, and it's also not a simple thing to optimize so it adds to game complexity in a way that doesn't make it harder for new players to start. So it's good game design.

The point is to raise the oil supply by setting a higher minimum value so oil will hold more value at the end of a set. Currently it's a gamble to produce oil as over supply makes the oil fairly worthless. It's required for grabbing but largely pointless for jumping.
