if it was as easy as spam emailing all old earthers, dont you think this would have been done? hell it HAS been done people just dont stick around anymore (for good reason). MD is a rare instance of a reunion set sticking.

There is more to it then just spamming old members. It is an entire promotion and marketing activity. If it is server-wide and it is promoted on this website in some shape or form then it will receive a response. It is like cheap advertising.

It just needs to be promoted to be exciting.

I am pretty sure a lot of players did not make the transition from Earth2025 to EE. I think it is a good idea to move this game forward by showing people this is not only the natural progression from Earth2025 but also it is simply better than Earth2025.

To make it work would require a lot of effort, but think of it as a marketing exercise.

I do believe if we had something like this and pushed it the right way we would achieve significant gains in the player base.

Thinking that we can stamp out the farming of the untagged countries and small tags really requires one to have an idealistic view on things. It cannot be stopped while we have tags, it is as simple as that. Don't try to argue it, it will not work.

The politics and mechanics of this server have developed over 14 years. One cannot expect to waltz in here and survive, as I have been saying it is an "Advanced" server.

The strength and growth of this game is not on this server it is the Primary server. That is where the majority of the player base should be and that is where the Alliances should be recruiting from. New Alliances will form over time from splitting from other Alliances etc etc. The Primary server is not very populated and thus that follows through to this server.

If new players are serious about coming to this server then they need to start within a legitimate alliance and learn their way first. If you see the thread linked above I said that weeks ago.

This is the Alliance Server, but in reality it should be the "Advanced" server. You can't just come here and try and start an Alliance without any idea what you are doing.

Now if it was an experienced player making moves to start a new Alliance then they would have my support.

Evo is only guilty of jumping on the land faster than other Alliances. I bet every tag here is guilty of hitting them and would hit them more if they were less in DR.

Sure some have now offered pacts, but not every alliance will. And they will continue to be farmed long after Evo stops.

I speak from the experience of being on the receiving end and helping many alliances years ago through similar problems. Difference is they were much larger and more experienced than your Alliance.

What you need to understand, the farming is not coordinated. Members look for land and you are easy targets. Evo just so happens to be faster at hitting because their members are good at getting land, but I assure you when Evo stops others will take their place.

I don't know why you are complaining. I told you what would happen. If it wasn't Evo it would be someone else. I warned you but you wouldn't listen.

If Evo pacted you it would be someone else. With no tag protection you would need to be pacted to every alliance in the game and that won't happen.

There is nothing in the news that would justify Imag killing that country in anyone's tag. He never did more than 1 attack on an Imag country within a single day.

As for him being in DR, thats not his fault. He was being farmed to hell.
