This has been brought up before, but should we pivot back to implementing pacts into the game? So an unbreakable pact is truly unbreakable, etc. **This post isn't to get into all the implementation details to prevent loopholes...

From a user's perspective, from a development, testing, and successful deployment, would this be a more straightforward change that gets most of what some people want while maintaining a certain level of uncertainty that others cherish from Earth: 2025?

My fear with ClanGDI is that it is a complex solution for what should be a pretty simple outcome. It will require much more testing and work from a developer perspective to successfully pull it off, and I wonder if we should expect Qz to spend that much time on it.

Wow, I think some people need to take an EE break. I am not calling anyone out, but you know if you do.

If Qz/pang/slag ever releases any otherwise private game info to any [player, former player, anyone with any allegiances to any person or clan] through any channels, code reviews, random chatting, mod/dev boards, etc, then they should also make that information publically available under all circumstances.

If something is figured out only by investing time and energy with no help from the developer, then it's ok to keep to yourself if you choose to do so.

Let's be rational here.

Beyond building countries, if you cannot get online at the same time to attack as a group, you will always find it hard to compete.

This also goes for the willingness to wall. It's not always under your control tho, fluff happens.

Possibly, but I think arranged wars need some changes to be fun.

1. Missiles need to be nerfed OR SDI needs to be buffed
2. CD needs nerfed
3. Possibly demo needs to be nerfed
- spy ops in general are probably too powerful

Most of my arranged wars result in me being a missile dump. The current game penalizes people for building the best war country for arranged wars.

I'm sure there are other things, but these are some of my biggest beefs with arranged wars.

Here is one thing ClanGDI did. Create a safe environment to max out decay and play turns with 200 billion cash on hand. Is this favorable gameplay? I don't know, but it seems the risk reward aspect of the game is out of balance.

I remember SG doing it with 60 billion, but at least he took a risk, lol!

That said when I walled a CM rush from SoF one time... Pretty big rush!

Bro our last war against SoF, I showed up with 15 million SDI tech and they used 400 missiles to rush me. I recalled my sdi tech to wall and ended up dead anyways. What a rush. Those SoF guys ran a tight ship, I’ve never seen a clan war prep with over 400 chems before. I think you were there

Yes sdi is actually extremely vulnerable. You should break it with other myself types though, like cruise. Then finish with cm. The only way to counter if to continue to buy SDI in real time through the kr.

You will need to drop land to raise your SDI % if they have too many missiles.
