The World of Undecima 1 has been finished now, we have a winner and you can see the Aftermaths of this World in this topic: http://forum.undecima.com/...howThread.aspx?thrid=339.

But as the say, "The King is dead - long live the King". A new World of Undecima has just started and it can be your chance to capture the Crown of Ultimate Power and prove that you are a True Ruler of Undecima. With the steel of Might, the power of Magic, the spirit of Nature, or the light of Faith, face your enemies with courage and honour and bring Undecima to its proper glory.

Undecima Wants You!

If you tried Undecima some time ago, you will find many new features in the game. You can explore the Ruins of Decima now, your Mayor has many new upgrades to improve the efficiency of your Town, you can hire help to produce more Gold and Food, and even you, yourself can Roll up your Sleeves and help your workers around the Town.

There is also a new Tutorial with Step-by-Step Instructions covering all new and old main concepts of the Game.

Give it a try and if you liked it before, you will like it even more now.

It's been a while and there were a few interesting changes in the Game. Now you (as a player and the ruler of your Town) can roll up your sleeves and engage in your Town activities, helping your workers to complete ongoing tasks, train more troops, or do some farming or trading to produce a bit of an extra Gold or Food. You can find more about it in this thread: http://forum.undecima.com/...howThread.aspx?thrid=276.

There is also a new Tutorial with Step-by-Step Instructions that covers all new and old main concepts of the Game. You can find more about it in this thread: http://forum.undecima.com/...amp;postid=3478#post3478.

The defense industry. Since you appear to not be a citizen of the greatest nation in the world... it is proprietary :).

I actually meant "what industry are you talking about when you're just a student", not exactly asking what particular subject you are studying. And I'm surely not getting into discussion of nations as it's more about rotten apples than barrels that they are spoiling ;)

... On the other hand, I'm not really interested in your great success if any or care for your advices. I can see that you don't like Undecima for whatever reason (from what I see on my side, you haven't even tried it) and all this bickering is just a waste of time (at least for me). So, just for you to know before you share another portion of your bile (which I can't stop from splashing on me), I don't really care about your personal opinion on this or any other subject ;)

2 Scott (about art classes) - hmm... spend a few years learning and drawing and make my game look like a million other Chinese/Korean/etc games? Nope, thank you. I like my art, my kids like it, and many other people do as well - mind you, I'm not an artist and it's not bad for not an artist ;)

2 Link - yep I have, but for a short time. It is a bit too much "text-based" for me, like no graphics at all, and a bit too dark :( There must be very good mathematicians in the team for calculating all these processes - I can tell as a specialist ;) Besides, I have a game to run, not much time is left (actually none) for running anything else ;)

Yeah, it's been a while since I checked in here and there is a whole conspiracy going on... I laid the sarcasm on thick. Can't believe it tool you this long.

Well, obviously I figured out you're fooling around from your first message, but I'm way too busy coding the game to check any links or follow any "thick laid sarcasm". Besides, I usually think of people better than they are and that usually doesn't serve me good...

All new features of the Mayor have been implemented and documented. You can now improve the efficiency of your buildings, queue your tasks and even instantly finish them. You can find description and details of all features under the Mayor Help section on the Undecima Help Portal: http://u1.undecima.com/...e=AdvancedHelp%2FhpMayor. And here is the thread for discussion of these new features and changes: http://forum.undecima.com/...amp;postid=1435#post1435.

A new video strategy guide - Capturing Soul Gems from Bastions - is available on YouTube now (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8i0y7Pv0a3s). In this video we'll try capturing a Soul Gem from a Bastion. You will learn more about developing your Town, Commanders, Mercenaries, Bastions, Scouting, Attacking, and about Negative Income and its consequences.

There will be also a hint on how to spot a Bastion with a Soul Gem without scouting it. And we will continue our hidden-object game in this video... you can find more here: http://forum.undecima.com/...ShowThread.aspx?thrid=223

A new update is coming as well: there will be a new medal - Medal of Iron Will - that will be given to a player who logged at least once in the past week and played the longest without a premium account. This player will also receive the accompanying reward of 7 premium days. You can read more about it here: http://forum.undecima.com/...howThread.aspx?thrid=224. A little "thank you" for Undecima veterans ;)

The Mercenaries and Capturing Artifacts video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adIB1ZlYO9Y) has been reworked, edited, and put in separate file. In this video, we'll talk about Mercenaries and we'll try capturing an Artifact from a Dungeon. You will learn more about developing your Town, hiring Mercenaries, Scouting, Attacking, Commanders, and Dungeons. There will be also a hint on how to spot a Dungeon with an Artifact without scouting it.

We will continue our hidden-object game in this video as well - you can find more here: http://forum.undecima.com/...amp;postid=1336#post1336. Now, you can get up to a week of premium account just by watching videos that will show, explain, and teach you how to play the game – can't be wrong with this one ;)

On the other note... Two more strategy guide videos have been reworked, edited, and put in separate files. Life after the Tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NFYgC9QnYU) – in this video, we'll talk about developing your town after you complete the Tutorial and how to capture an Altar in your Cell. And Stealing Soul Gems and Capturing Altars (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADD1p5EC9gY) - in this video, we'll talk about stealing Soul Gems from inactive players and capturing Altars located outside of your Cell. You will learn more about Developing your Town, Training your Troops, Scouting, Wave Attacking, Town Classes, Commanders, and Altars.

The hidden-object game still continues in both videos - you can find more here: http://forum.undecima.com/...&postid=1292#post1292 or there: http://forum.undecima.com/...&postid=1314#post1314

I would like to point out that Undecima is almost exactly like Travian. I played travian before and I liked it, but Undecima looks a little more dumbed down on the graphics and gameplay. I am sorry that I won't be giving it a shot, but if you maybe brought a little more HD to the GUI and possibly made it less like Travian, it would be a huge hit and maybe even take alot of Travians players away. Other than the previously said comments, Good on you for making a game on your own and going for the gold!

Hmm... I can't say much about graphics as they have a team of professional artists and I'm only a developer who had to learn how to draw (regardless, I like my units much better than Travian's), but... the Gameplay is much more advanced (or at least different) than Travian or many other game that I know of the same genre.

The only common thing between two games is that you start in a small village... From their on it's pretty much all different (but don't you start in a "small village" in a lot of games?). No tedious micro-management with dozens of crop fields and clay pits; you can control only one town; no blatant farming of new players by somebody who started a bit later than you. Different system of artifacts, different system of surrounding locations, different system of advancing to a new level (that's not in Travian at all); different system of diplomacy - only personal alliances and no dominant groups that control the game; a chance to play and win for anyone. Different system of combat - if you detect an incoming attack, you can scout it and then decide whether you want to defend, counter-attack it, hire more mercenaries, or let it hit your town and dodge it, but then you can intercept returning enemy troops and claim back everything what they captured from your town. I can continue for quite a while, but the point is - it's the same genre, but different games.

I'm not saying that Traivan is bad - I'm saying that they are different and only a person who hasn't tried Undecima, can say that Undecima is "whatever" version of Traivan. Some people would still prefer Travian, but some will find Undecima more original and interesting to play.
