LOL, those cashers of yours are most likely stocked with 10's of billions of cash worth of stuff each. my half/set countries that I screwed around with trying different things should make 25/30 mil. if I had the other 1200 turns and had played them right they would have had 15/20 bil worth stocked.

I have only played 3 sets on the express since rediscovering the game. All have been all-x and all have been top 20. I just have to fine tune my skills a little and one of these sets do some single grabs. All-x is the way to go for new players until they learn the strats and fine tune them.

dol and leu were both there don't remember if it was called TF then or not. I think the name was changed from something else to TF as more clans were added but it really was the same thing. EL was leading leu at the time. The col that ended up being TF started with The 4 Horsemen but the name changed a few different times.

LOL, nope never. DWAR was never in TC. I know why you might think you remember that. LOL but only somewhere between 4-10 people know almost everything that was going on back then. I'm one and and I know you knew some but was never sure how much you knew. Don't think any of the others are still playing. The politics of the game were a game of it's own back then. 99% of the players back then never knew how much was going on behind closed doors. LOL and I don't mean man love.

most of the time I'd say yes the MBR does have a big payoff toward the end if timed exactly right. It's very hard to time and you need to be online to resell the moment your other goods have sold. How well it does depends on the military market prices. It sould only be played as a theo or demo.

As for the oiler strat, well I have never found it to be good at all. The only way I know of that the oiler strat does well is in the ffa where sometimes there is a late set market buyout done to boost 1 country into the stratospere of networth. If you can stockpile enough oil and put it at a high enough price but lower than the buyout price you can make a bundle. Of course if you are in a large clan than can do such a buyout for you a hugh stockpile of oil can put you in the #1 spot.

I'd have to do the math but my gut tells me it's to costly at this point to still be grabbing. Your using military up both on the grab and the retal that you need to be selling to keep your county going and retals at this point could be over 1000 acers.

this is the ffa and the clans with the fighting power have always made and enforced server wide policy the way they see fit. If you do not like the rules they set then join a clan that fits your views and war them till you can force a change in rules or policy.

that's not the same thing.The -20% private market costs was there before and there also used to be - 20% miltary cost which is the cost that it costs you to maintain the miltary each turn. it looks like that was replaced with the +50% maximum population.

that's from the game info page. no -20% military costs and from running my express country I'd say military costs are no lower than other gov's.

why late set destock? didn't I read there in no 2bil limit on cash? the only reason i could see stocking with no 2bil limit would be to protect the cash from grabs or to hide the value from spy opps.

I seen the thoes no longer have the -20% military costs. I would think that along with higher miltary costs on the private market would kill the reselling part of the ttr making it less effective than a demo techer. Commys seem to hold a lot longer than they used to with the changes and it looks to me that a theo with the +50 pouplation should make a better casher than a rep casher.
