Yeah, that would never happen. That's why I laugh at the posts suggesting that everyone change. If there is an opportunity to get ahead someone is going to take it to think otherwise is just ignorant.

You can't control the players, you can only control their options. Unless they start in game punishment for land farming. IE You landgrab an untagged x amount of times you lose x amount of turns, which would be silly.

I still say the best way to improve the game is to lower damage from land grabbing and maybe lower the rewards too. The game needs to change if it's such a problem, because the players won't.

I'm still not convinced there is a problem though.

39 isn't that bad of a price for a farmer when you look at the income compared to other strats. It's the tech that is killing them in the alliance server.

Spawn: When I started playing I played the tourney and then got recruited to 1a. I don't know why someone would pick the alliance game to start at. Maybe he saw too many army of one commercials.

Secondly, if you get so upset from getting grabbed that you delete, then you probably aren't going to last in this game anyways. Even if he was noobing it up in another server he probably would have gotten farmed.

I didn't realize their was a ghost acres DR(I assume it's decreasing at a higher rate than the regular acres?).

You could make it drop off even stronger I or you could even add something like increasing CS loss from land trading, which would really discourage it.
