Here's the thing. If you saw a country with 50 missiles, you know that country is likely going to attack someone.

Similarly if I saw someone had a SO for warfare tech at 5k it could indicate the direction of a country.

Also,. there are tricks of transfering wealth from one country to another not using FA. ie( buyout medical tech then sell your tech for $9999 and have the people with money buy it.) By seeing the SOs you could then sell your tech at 8k and undercut their sale.

Yeah that sounds like a 500 error. Fatal errors typically have behavior like that.

It sounds like the variable which identifies the country you want to declare peace with gets reset (replaced with NULL) after you SS/PS.

Many times there are hidden inputs which have these values and likely after you attack this hidden value is likely not getting the value carried over. So when you declare peace you’re telling the database to declare peace with null.

At the end of the day if someone wants to suicide your country it’s near impossible to prevent. That’s why it’s best to use diplomacy. Reach out to your attacker and look for common ground.

Track it? Kinda. It would require automation which is what many bots do which is technically against rules. The other option is to monitor eestats which is every 5 mins. (Which would be too slow of a notification)

Other tricks are to monitor jet/oil purchases on public market on irc. If purchases is made then peak at network increases of suspect country. Just depends on your attackers attention to detail.

But a 500 error would do the same. So in sure Slag could see that in error log.

Country B

Ensure B has all their stats on advisor page are NOT 0.
Spy B from A.
Screenshot values before navigating away from page.
Open view saved spy ops.
Compare the saved values to screenshot values.

Added bonus: ( cant recall if this was still an issue)
Take 1 turn with country B
Review saved spy op on A & see if anything changed. (without spying again)

It was transfered to a member in LAF so now they host it.

Though, there's some bugs on their site im not sure if they're aware of.

Which handle do you want Req? I have them all.

Basically the trick works like this:

1. Record all the top 100 scores
2. Once the set ends record updated top 100 scores. (takes like a day or two)
3. Subtract #2 from #1.
4. Match #3 results to ending scores of set.

What does this do?
It identifies players who are in top 100 which countries they played, regardless if their profile is public or not. If you've done this for awhile like me you would catch those anonymous players identify who their country was one set and forever be able to know who they were.

What I've noticed recently:
The top 100 goes beyond 100 now & the anonymous tags appear to be gone.

When it doesn work:
If a player dies or the player wasn't in top 100; but, from looking at the scores now it seems the top 100 has been expanded.

The names could easily be pulled from past sets. There’s years of data of real players. Just use those.

The whole point of making bots were to emulate human players.

They've turned these bots into large explore buttons. What's the point of the explore button? LIke really? We have zero retal, yellow highlighted, countries with max gains per hit.

Just up the explore button to 250A a turn and then nobody can complain about DR. No really. This is literally the direction it's going. Instead of addressing the underlying problem of making the bots play more human like and less distinguishable from real players we do the opposite. You stated the bots don't reply., then make it so they do?? If you guys don't want to take up the task of making these smart type of bots then allow us the ability to help by allowing the creation of them. 1 per player. This is the EXPRESS server. It's meant to be an experiment server. If it doesnt work out change direction the next set.

I misspoke on # 3.

It meant to say allow a player to make a bot (not bots). So instead of creating a country they could make a single bot country instead. The idea behind this is to expedite bot improvement.

My suggestions:

1. Increase number of bots by 4x
2. Program current bots to hit back.
3. Allow players to create bots.
4. Increase the consumption of oil on server. ( I don't even think bots buy oil ).
5. Increase the consumption of food on server. 30% more.
6. Remove the 0s in input fields.
7. Change GDI to be same as other servers
8. Decrease spy DR from 24hrs to 6hrs.
9. Decrease the consumption of bus/res tech by bots (spread it out more to other techs)
10. Change turn wait time from 4mins to 2mins.
11. Mask the bots. (stop showing which are bots are not) (use a better method of selecting names so players cant identify which is real or not)
12. Give 10% bonus for declaring war (re-add this feature)
13. Allow players to def ally with bots (after changing gdi rules)

Also unless you have a dedicated VPN IP you're likely to get a different IP every time.

The IP approach is too easily exploitable.

Tell the developers to look up Browser Fingerprinting. (ie. Canvas fingerprinting, WebGL fingerprinting).
