Is there a way to unlink a game account from the linked up forum account?

SoF killed off some vermin and still had activity and turns remaining. Seems pretty reasonable to pick some other targets to show how many actual hits could be cranked out.

And, for the record, the untags had a huge number of jets with very little else.... kinda looks like they were sons of suiciders and we did the game a service by eliminating them before they could trash on some poor netgainer.

Your for the record is factually incorrect.

I didn't whine.. You ab'ed me and I said nothing of it. I just find it very amusing that you think 3k + hits on 3 untags counts as hits in your FS.

Ivan: I don't think I could get involved in any form with iScode; I'm still relatively bitter about his past suiciding ways. But you do make a good point; hopefully when WoG returns it will add to the gameplay and provide a little more uncertainty.

Don't forget to add that you then proceded to AB untags to try to help boost your numbers by over 3000 hits.

That's quite a joke.

Someone should finish him off. See SoF you worried about guys who obviously were not suiciders like me, and you let a guy get 0 defense and run 5m jets... that's smart.

So you're saying that #697, #688, #119 were all run by Bobby? That Bobby is running multis? I sure hope you report him. Please do!

My country was 697. Bobby just posted a thread about 688 being his.

So if you really believe that, then I'm saddened to see that you have zero faith in the administrators of the game.

I'm trying to archive a website/blog and all of its contents. I tried several different methods but all of them didn't turn out quite as I was hoping, and the wget man is quite long and extensive.

Each time I tried to wget site it just downloads the index page. The site pages are setup as so:

http://www.site.com
http://www.site.com/page/1
http://www.site.com/page/2
.
. // pages keep going for a while
.

Each page has a post that should also be downloaded. I don't need to downloads the links to external sites.. just the pages on that domain.

So far I have tried

wget -m http://www.site.com
wget -r -l inf -k -E -p -nc http://www.site.com

Anyone know the proper options that I should use to get this working right?

Falcon NW the TLX might be of interest. They do sell internationally. It takes a couple weeks to get the computer built and shipped though.

http://www.avadirect.com with a caveat

We are not setup for international shipping. If you would place an order and pay for it with Bank-Wire and after that order a FedEx/UPS pickup from our warehouse in OHIO then the order can be delivered to Canada

The one thing that I love about God is that he allows humanity to live life; He allows us to make mistakes and sin. While it should be our goal to serve God and be good ministers, we must realize that we can only do so much. Making laws against abortion to save the life of an unborn child is wrong, IMO. It creates resentment and close-minded people. God lets us sin, and instead of passing laws that would ban sin; I would much rather abortion's be provided in a safe, clean environment instead of in a back alleyway where potentially two persons could die. Allowing people the ability to sin is what makes God so awesome; I certainly would rather have the opportunity to minister to a person considering abortion than to have that person feel hopeless and in despair with no place to turn to.

Hate the sin; love the sinner. Use the sin as an opportunity to encourage sinners to come closer to Christ. God has given us the ability to make bad and good choices in life; I would do the same.

"Legitimate" is a term you talk about if you are in an established alliance with pacts and stuff.

All alliances worked and agreed upon some retaliating pacts to make things a little less chaotic.

WoG would have begged to differ. I understand that when it comes to escalating retals and everything that is typed out in pacts. But alliances have policies and some alliances even spell out there policies towards untags.

He's more modererate that the others that are running, but its a hyper conservative field, splitting a vote, he won't be splitting votes with anyone. Especially in Iowa/NH/SC

Great organizational skills, and political IQ. He's the only Republican that the Obama team is scared of (as previously noted.)

Successful Gov, plenty of Mormon money to come his way, and a great campaigner. When he announces and makes a splash, it'll change things.

Brink, Mitch will be a force, I just don't see him winning the Presidency, maybe the nomination. But Huntsman can beat Obama, and in my opinion he's the only one that can. Question is, as properly noted, can he get out of his Primaries?

While the Mormon population is growing, their rate of growth is not very great. While they are very republican and have deep wallets, 35% of the mormon population lives in Utah. On top of that 76% of the entire mormon population lives in the west. Those facts alone means that Huntsman can't rely on just his mormon connections.

As you noted, in the general election it would be a close race between Huntsman and Obama; but Huntsman will have a hard time getting the delegates needed, from all the other states not named Utah, to win the party's nomination. I just don't see the south ever letting that happen. I think T-Paw has more of a chance of winning the nomination than Huntsman does.

was I late?

I performed a few failed spy ops on SoF on April 23rd. May 1st or so I retaled a LaF country and that caught SoF's attention, so SoF decided to kill me because I had 200m cash and 2.5m jets. During their kill run, a PDM'er joined in. Tan offered to talk to me to resolve any conflict that I may hold towards PDM for their member's role in killing me. SoF took offense and threatened PDM with war. TAN and I handled the situation already and it was resolved.

I had a similar problem, but with Firefox. Logged in on the forum page, and it would seem as if the cookies did not take. I would clear cookies try loging in again and still didn't help. I did find a solution. I could log in normally using Chromium and no workaround was needed. But I finally just ended up doing this: Once I logged into the main account page on earthempires.com and went to the portal, and link the forum account to the game account it would let me log in.

Doing those spyops could have been done while tagged, but it would have caused FA problems.

Stonewalling (while not my intention to start the set, but knowing how alliance worked I figured would happen eventuallY) can be done in a tag, but I haven't done it in a while so it was good to get the feel of changes made and how I should adjust. I would not want to be in a close war trying to stonewall and die the way I did these last two times.

I understand that you don't see why I am playing this server, and that I should just leave. It's your opinion, and I have mine. It won't be the first time you and I disagreed.

A lay of the land? Well, rules have changed and so have formulas. It looks like killing has also changed, as I find it almost impossible to wall with less than 200 population left. The private market sell prices are different and oil seems to be more expensive than I remember it being. Oh yeah, the last changed i've found out about was the ability for a leader to see all the failed non-harmful spyops done. There's a lot of small things that have changed, and its nice to get back into the swing of things if I was going to join a clan somewhere.

Joining an alliance is not what I wanted to do this set. I am already a member of the alliance you are in Cypress (so long as you haven't deleted me). I wanted to get the lay of the land and see if the game was worth coming back to. Playing and watching the server the past few weeks tells me that no, its not worth joining in an Alliance next set.

The way I play in an alliance is that I am active and I attempt to run the best country I can. It takes a lot more time than it is worth to me, and I am unable to just half-ass being a member. So it is much easier for me to screw around and see how well I can do untagged, while providing additional farmland to the server.
