This guy "filled" my tech spot. However once seing his techs I knew it didnt look right and my spy op confimred it he took an offer and isnt even teching.

less defined as days go by. Fading away well you might say I am losing the focus. Kinda drifting into the abstract in terms of how I see myself

You got taken. Happens all the time. Tell him to send you an o or d ally then farm him and accept his offer so he can't hit you back.

Innocence is something we all forget. I haven't quite, I'm naive.

I remember as a Theo Casher, being sent random tech pacts from other theos all set.

Did you check with them that they were teching before sending the pact; or were you just sending random pacts to all theos and/or demos on the server?

Best bet would be to hold your turns for three days so he gets nothing from you, then break it when you can.
