I don't think people really care how its scored. They just want it to have a concrete ending that involves all players. As long as there is restart bonus, TK will be the only metric available to say the war is done and everyone got their chance to play a part. You can score it a dozen different ways, none of which make 4-6 week wars any shorter or stop them from bleeding set to set because they never ended with a cf because the losing side could still kill tops.

The metric of TK has caused a variety of potentially endless wars to end in CF at an appropriate time. Laf v any enemy never ends that way, but thats hardly normal for two war clans engaging and not feeling like they have to eliminate their enemies to net.
