I think it was just to cover up the fact that SOTA kept getting deleted for rules violations every set and he wanted to cover his tracks.

Blake here is the cliff notes of the whole thing.

SOTA had just been deleted rules violations again and "Slash" comes back to FFA claiming the "Shi" put him in jail and stole his FFA identity. Apparently, "Shi" and "slash" were ex boyfriend and girlfriend, but "Shi" fell in love with "Slash's" sister and they both devised a plot to get rid of him. So "Shi" claimed that "Slash" assaulted her and he was sent to prison for five years. Well "Slash" gets out of prison at the exact moment SOTA was deleted again, and claims that "Shi" had stolen his identity and tag and he wanted them back.

"Slash" disappeared again after everybody wasn't buying the whole thing, but the arguments between "him" and "her" were pretty funny.
