my pops went down to their beach house to board it up for the storm before the local authorities demanded his evacuation.

i have been south of miami for almost 3 years now and i havnt been hit once by a hurricane. makes me miss North Carolina

I live about 80 miles from the point where NC and SC meet at the coast, and I say Irene was unremarkable. If no one told me those storms were a hurricane, I'd have never known.
