he gives himself an edge in knowing, or being able to communicate with other mods behind the scenes to identify players that he could otherwise hardly confirm.
So you're saying that I get information from game moderators because I am a forum moderator? Do you think having italicized forum handles somehow initiates people into some sort of fraternity of shared game information for the purposes of gaining an advantage over others? It seems like you are not only accusing me of unethical behavior, but also one or more game moderators. Is that correct?
It's obvious that him becoming a moderator has given imp an addition in numbers, he is using his position to influence the server.
I am not sure what this means. IMP has more tagged this round because I asked people to join that I thought would be a good fit in IMP. One player was being farmed by another established alliance and joined us on his own accord. One player joined us at the invite of DarkPrinc because he plays with him in Team. I sent a text to SublimeNightmare and he tagged up a late string as well. At least 4 came over from SoF that I messaged specifically on the sof website in Alliance. I only messaged a few guys that I thought would be a good fit and they are giving FFA a try - they may be back next round or they may not like it here at all. Either way, I'd bet over half of the people that play with me in IMP or SoF have no idea I moderate the forums - although I do not know what kind of edge that would give me or how that would inflate tag membership. Please elaborate.
He makes politically motivated decisions for the whole playerbase to protect his own tag and singles out solo players for past provocations or failure to join larger clans or identify. These are not actual rules for the game.
Part 1: Yes. I do make politically motivated decisions that are in favor of my clan. I am the head of IMP, and all decisions I make for the clan include the best interests of the alliance in which I lead. I do not know of any decisions that have or will affect the "whole playerbase" of EarthEmpires. If I have done this, I hope everyone is satisfied with whatever I may have done. TO ALL PLAYERS: If I have positively affected your gameplay here and you are wealthy or have wealthy parents, please consider paypal donations to my personal account to show your appreciation.
Part 2: Partially true. I singled out a solo PLAYER (not plural; one guy) for his "past provocations". I promised him and warned him several times BEFORE he made his decision to cross me. I gave him more than a fair shake, as has most of FFA and other leaders and clans here. IMP will continue to seek him out and destroy him on this server until a time that I see fit. Even so, I make no promises that someone else won't kill him down the road or instead of IMP.
Part 3: IMP does not kill players for failure to join us or any other main tag.
Also for a clan who can defend themselves, I'm curious as to why a flag was thrown up over a single string, to gain Assistance in helping kill macdaddy. Seems like a weak move.
I don't really know what this means either. I am spending my turns on netting, as is over half of the tagged people in IMP right now. If players want to tag with us or assist us in taking out the trash so we don't have to "waste" turns that are not putting is closer into the top netting spots, then I support that. There are several people that will kill macdaddy when they find out what/where is countries are on several servers, for obvious reasons. I doubt many of those reasons are because they want to "do a favor" for IMP.
