nope he tried to very end of set to get ahead on the land he lost to me in end I cost him 3k acres plus 10k of unbuilt land he jumped from 3m nw to 4m nw at end and was proud of that lol

Will definitely miss you in express Celphi, hope you do change your mind. I do agree with the basics of what you are saying. Players should not be allowed to sell below their personal PM price.

Sort of make it like the flag that auto buys from the PM when public prices exceed the PM prices.

Oil for the most part would not sell below 60, although a theo could still drive public prices down some.

h2o is usually easy to spot out I knew he was oxycotin before set even started. took me until day2 to figure out who was celphi he really hid good this set. Took me until a series of RoR to RoR with hammer to figure him out (actually forgot) that he used that name every set pretty much thought was someone else for some reason Drunck eluded me until end set scores and even dcorn24 shocked me with his low finish.

No, he tapped me in the last 4 minutes of the set. BTW, something strange, I couldn't hit him back as kept on getting a message "the country [you're trying to spy on and then attack] is too large", despite us being almost the same NW.

You have to be very near his networth to be able to hit him during the last few 2 hours of the set.

During the last 30 turns of a reset, the humanitarians range will tighten with ((turnsleft/31.7)^2+1.05) with a minimum of the range; (ie GDI, team)

Couple tournament sets I hit you, you didn't have power to retal you pull out missiles that's shady enough for me to put you on a shady list ;)

Shukt, so if I read you formula correct, as I had ~30 turns left (is it the set turns or my personal turns ?) its ~1 +1.05. Is that 5% ? If yes, I don't think it's an addition otherwise you can be double or half the size and still hit. Then, I see that if you have only 5 turns left the range narrows tremendously, to 1.37 (I assume %). Still, we were maybe 10% NW apart. Let me understand your formula better :-)

Ah, ok. I take that "shady" without problems. If you hit me, I'll do all I can to retaliate.
If what you define "shady" has such a standard, I think 90% of the players around you are shady.

If you had 30 turns left, it would be (30/31.7)^2+1.05 = 1.9455.
This means that your target can only be 1.94x larger than you or 1.94x smaller than you in terms of networth.

If you had 10 turns left, it would be (10/31.7)^2+1.05 = 1.15
This means that your target can only be 1.15x larger than you or 1.15x smaller than you in terms of networth.

Note that this changes very fast because in express each turn is only 4 mins long, wherelse in servers like Primary, 30 turns is actually 15 hours.

who ever played the Temple (#40) you can kiss my ass fluff as I finished $1.2mill NW higher than you and like I said your fluff ass couldnt play a single turn after I took you down to 9k pop which is why you left 150 turns on hand so blow me :)

Alternatively you might say I had 150 turns left I didn't play and you finished 4 million less NW and 12000 fewer acres than when you triple tapped me. You definitely came out better from the exchange there didn't you, well done.

his last message to me was him bragging how he was going to finish higher in NW than me and how he hoped that I felt that the triple tap was worth it. So i would say that his end game was to out net me after trashing my country lol




yes i did come out better on the exchange as you were trash talking me about having a higher finish which you did not. Sure you AB`ed me into the ground and you cost me a top 10 finish but you also missed out on NW and land as well so from a netting perspective there was no winner. Only a guy who trashed talked me and could not deliver at the end...

The humanitarian is not effected by your turns remaining but how many are left in the game ie only 1 if it was right at the end of set

DP, you and I handled business the gentlemen's way - 1:1 - and respect you for that. Yes, I am pretty easy to spot as I play the same country every week. Some weeks I play for the win, sometimes I experiment with other govs. Every time, I'm going to retal when it is convenient for me.

A player cannot grab and expect the other player to not retal. I play commie often, do a lot of grabbing, and expect to get hit. That's the risk I take.

Celphi, I hope you change your mind. It sounds like that was you demo that finished 2nd. If so, nice job man.

I see your comprehension skills are lacking. I said I was enjoying having a greater NW than you. Nothing about whether I was going to beat you in the end., just pleased at having obliterated any hope you had of a decent finish.

let's see, someone retals a hit, then obviously the person who initiated did not have the military to hold onto the land to begin with.

If I hit A and A hits back and takes their land back then did I even deserve it to begin with? Logically I hit A thinking A would not hit back, or would not be able to hit me back.

... i.e. it is about minimizing risk, at least I think so. sort of like robbing banks, if A hits back and wins then I got caught

If I get caught the first time why in the world would I want to rob the same bank again? to show the world I can rob the stupid bank, and they need to just let me get away with it? Would it not be smarter to move onto some other bank perhaps with a little less security.

Now for would be bank robbers, before you start you need to realize that at some point you are going to get caught. So you need to figure out how much you can walk away with and keep. The math in such a case is If i sit in jail for 20 years how much am i getting paid per year to sit in jail. If i steal 10K and kept 10k then it was hardly worth it considering my end of day pay day is $500 a year. However if I walk away with 20mil then surely a million dollars a year to sit in jail might be worthy of consideration :)

If they can retal you the first time it should be obvious they can, and most likely will retal you a second time. It's sort of like robbing the bank and going to jail without being able to keep the money. In essence the ROI for the risk taken is lower then the guy who at least made 10 grand :)

I don't ROR. Well not on purpose anyway.

I try to take retals like a gentleman. Double taps always get a missile or two though. I treat a ROR like a double tap.

Looking forward to next set. Should be interesting.

I treat an attack with a retal, then I attack and if I get retalled well its all fair, but anything more then that well then its war.
