I think with the introduction of a Premium service that a Premium only server would be really fun. I would say it should basically just be a copy of the 1a Alliance server (hopefully easy to duplicate) and all it has to do is check that you're a premium user (magic bool) to make a country etc.

I remember how fun the Limited server was in Earth 2025 and think that would give great value for the Premium users (beyond the bonus points).

I know there are lots of other things on the agenda but I would love to see something like this. I bet it could even drive more people to buy premium because ideally the player base are more invested in the server as you have to actually purchase something to play there which could lead to a fun environment to play in.

I tried the limited server on old E2025 and I remember it as a complete waste of bandwidth and my time.

I'm sure it could be made better here. Maybe like you suggest, or like a test server where new mechanisms or formulas are tested every set?

But why make it Premium and not patron? Premium is so packed with goodies and Patron has just a forum as benefit.

I would become Patron if there was a limited server for Patron only, but I'm already paying for premium based on what it brings. Possibly others are thinking the same.

Got a point there would prob make more sense to be a patron perk.

earth 2025 limited sucked cause not that many players when I played it and currently team is in near same conditoion and even if all alliance players played it'd be just another alliance server even with some perks.

Pang said they might start resetting post counts of non-patrons soon btw. Marshal you might wanna safeguard against that by buying patron now.

It had worse market than current team server back when we were used to vibrant fully functional markets with large volumes and iirc the the explores were smaller then so it was a decently high number of total turns half of which were spent exploring at minimum explore rates. I guess things like ghost acres, a limited bot supply and the current higher explore rates could be enough to avoid the worst of these issues.

Im not sure another tagged server is what we need. it will just be an extention of 1a tags I think. And the same players would play with the same rules in the same groupings and so the same conflicts would find their ways there... it would just be another battleground for 1a.
Some poster had an interesting idea to force people into tags at the start of the set at random. That would be pretty interesting, could spur a lot of exchanges that otherwise wouldnt happen.
