Does it really make sense that Oil needs to be spent on Guerilla Strikes? Last I checked, the human body does not subsist on oil.

This suggestion is to make Bushels of Food to be spent when sending Guerilla Strikes, as opposed to oil. Or to have food be spent in lieu of oil for all troops sent for any from of attack.

Its APCs that take the troops to the battle and back. Otherwise if they were walking our GSs should surely take 2-3 more turns than a BR.

we had this debate/joke when this change was added way back. IIRC, troops didn't need to use oil to attack. I forget when it was changed, though

Tanks should need oil to defend. Troops should take an extra turn to attack and burn some food as well as oil. Jets should take more oil than any other unit.

go ask from Mehul when troops started to need oil.
