Dropping of acres should cost, at all acres, the price it took to destroy your first acre.

Building destroy cost should not lessen. If you want to drop 35k acres times 21465$ then it should cost that money.

This oil destock and landtrade fluff is trust. Lets get some anti trust up in this joint.

You want the production of 160k acres then you jave to pay full price not a curve sloping downward.

Also alliances shouldnt be allowed to act contradictory to the games interests. The robber baron, did i mention anti trust?

Sol gets deleted for driving players away through late set netter blindsides.

Laf and md get capped at 15 members. If ooold school for life laf or md'er comes back, they can trade a "lesser" but if not that new player joins where it benefits the game- ie, a small tag.

Lets make this game great again.

Just because hrc lost that doesnt mean we cant win.

Oil can produce for units. If you want to drop an acre at 160k acres then your cost to drop an acre at 2001 acres should cost the same.
Or does the game **only** work one method of destock?

if no landdropping (aka it costing alot) then players would need more military tech (if cost to drop land > price for tech) so they'd have less stocks and that way lower nw and ~majority wouldn't want that.

I agree with braden, ive only been back for 2 sets but it seems that the oil destock is too cheap compared to converting to full tmbr not to mention that it ruins destocking, it ruins reselling and it ruins for industrialists

fasc farm/oil has dominated the top 10 since oil destock was introduced really

Mbrs destroy buildings, not drop acres.
They pay the same dollar for 10k building as they do 1 acre.. because they dont drop the acres.. this wont effect full mbrs at all, it will only even out the environment of play by curbing the retarded stupid lopsided one way to finish

Oh, this is fun. Increase the cost of destroying as the reset lessens. On turn 100 it costs less than on turn 4600 that way all players are affacted the same and the cost is still only held to those who want to drop the most land, curbing only the retarded stupid abuse of oil destock.

Hmm, didn't think of that. Well how about if the switch from monarchy has the revolution costs unless it's the first switch? Then they would have to do Demo MBR after. Or they would have to live with selling their food on the public market @ like 35 and getting taxed. Either way it is a couple % less NW as a result. So it gets curbed sligthly as was suggested, but still very much viable(depending on the server, the prices and the total amount stockpiled).

I think that dropping acres should never cost (it would hurt war strats too much) but obviously the oil destock is king and probably needs a tweak/slight reduction in power.

You could make it so just like the humanitarians range shrinks that your ability to destroy buildings as the end of set approaches becomes limited in a scaling %

7 days left - 100% can be destroyed
6 days left - 90% can be destroyed
5 days left - 80% can be destroyed
4 days left - 70% can be destroyed
3 days left - 60% can be destroyed
2 days left - 50% can be destroyed
1 day left - 40% can be destroyed
Final 12 hours - 30 % can be destroyed
Final 6 hours - 20 % can be destroyed

So the 160k acre countries (which Im usually one of them) can choose to start destocking earlier or face an invisible wall that limits the ability to destroy and drop acres.

What this means is that they are more likely to destock a week earlier as well as be forced to leverage the market for destock calculations. By doing so this brings the market focus back into destocking, which the 100 acre oil destock doesnt care about.
