# Clan Relations Manager
Alternative to Clan GDI
## Based on what the forum is suggesting
1. Each clan can choose which clan to declare war against within Tag Admin.
2. To declare war, the clan must at least have 1/3rd the amount of members of the clan they wish to go to war with. Clan wars should be started by a clan, not by an independent country.
3. The other clan will get a war declaration notice.
4. The war will begin 48 hours since the declaration. To deal with blindsides.
5. It's not possible to attack a clan or perform spy operations without first declaring war in Tag Admin. To deal with griefing. An exception: If a clan member attacks an independent country. An independent country should be able to fight back.
6. Once agreed upon, relations may not change for at least 3 days. uNAP can not be changed. This to reduce abuse and surprises.
Possible error messages:
- You can't have more than one pact with clan X.
- You may not end this unbreakable pact.
- You may only have one active relation with clan X.
- You already have a pending relation with clan X.
- You may change this relation after X hours.
## Clan Relations Manager in Tag Admin
Create new relation:
- A drop down menu to list different types of relations (war, uNAP, LDP, etc)
- A small text box to type in the name of the tag. Or this can be a drop down box to list all the clans.
- The update relations button
List of pending relations:
- Name of clan
- The type of relation
- A button to accept request if your clan is the recipient
- A button to deny request if your clan is the recipient
- A button to withdraw request if your clan is the sender
Active relations:
- Name of clan you have a relation with
- Days since the relation is made
- The type of relation
- A button to cancel the relation if it's not uNAP
TL;DR:
1. Leaders get to control which clans their clan members are allowed to attack.
2. No more sudden war without any form of preparation. First strikes arguably gives too much advantage.
3. A clan should have enough members to start a war. It's not really a clan war if it's only one person which is likely a griefer.
4. An independent country can not attack a clan unless they are first attacked.
