I started a turn with 10 million food. I took a turn, it said my net food change was -7772. Next turn, I had 9,982,236, a difference of 17,764 from the previous turn which I started with 10 million.

Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

something similar will happen as well if you go above two billion dollars in money on hand.. its called corruption, i think?, where it'll do exactly what your food did, a percentage will be lost with every turn you run.
