I paid for premium and I still have to vote for my bonus points manually.

It will show that your bonuses are available if you have not logged in to any server since midnight gametime. If you just login whenever you see the Bonus available indicator, you should not need to do that on premium, but it does seem to allow for it (which is different from prior to changeset 25).
