Someone explain to me why war is starting with > 14 days in set.

Everyone is just going to go into vacation mode.

I think the standard has been 15 days out because its enough for tag kill and enough to show a clear winner usually. Historically wars were always longer than this But people seem to love these binary cases where if you live you won, and if you die you've lost. Earlier wars give more room for strategic maiming, and place higher demands on target selection, attack type selection etc.
But I guess what you are suggesting is even shorter than the shortest wars ever in EE and E2025 history that we have been having lately? All to make the options even fewer, to reduce complexity.
The 14.4 days war we had last set is the shortest mutually agreed war ever. :)

Make a no missile rule, and I will quit crying about late wars. DD will appreciate that.

Oop wars are the best. Warring every day and playing with a fluffty country is very familiar to me haha

Only reason it hasn’t been exploited more is because we started much closer to the 14day mark and most were not aware of using that tactic. You seem you’d rather wait for it to become a problem first.

Well if your first 8 targets go into vaca after burning all your attacks i don’t wanna hear you complain about it.
