Trash talk? I guess I can do that.

Out here in the country we have to take our own trash to the dump as there's no collection service. We don't have to separate recycling or anything, we can just take it all in.

When I was a kid, I thought "garbageman" might be a cool job for a while.

How do yall handle your trash?

I wish I was a garbabeman. I once heared a grumpy software developer in Sweden complain that garbagemen earn better than what software developers does hehe

Where I live, being a garbage man aka driving an automated truck that picks up the bins for the city and part of a union pays $100k with amazing benefits and vacation pay.

Definitely a pretty good job for a Canadian

Ps I am sure that guys who pick up garbage for places like waste management or all the other private places likely don’t make city employee wages but I assume they make at least $70-$80k?
