Hopefully this is the end of the Laf-Sol shenanigans for a while. Congrats to Sol for pretty well sinking the whole 'the FS is too powerful in EE!' argument. Everybody knew that even with the FS Laf was not going to win this war, but the short time in which Sol turned the tide and then buried laf was impressive.

Not much doubt who needs to meet up in the Rose Bowl next set . . . ;p

and laf held in there for quite awhile archaic. Sol did have a quick turn around but both were still even for a good amount of time.

I feel we truely could have done better.. something like what SoF is doing.. but I guess a win is a win.

mmm I don't think it sinks that argument... SoL was very well prepped and storing turns (they outhit LaF in the first 24h... and LaF had good participation) which goes against most of what the argument actually is. The argument is that if someone is not nearly completed their warprep, or not prepping for war at all, they will be hurting pretty bad before they can mount a serious CS.

I think what this war proves is another point which many have made -- wars where all parties are war prepped are MUCH more enjoyable for everyone than ones where one alliance is fully war prepped and the other is not :p

This is more like one of the classical wars, where both opponents were ready for the war and no one in leadership on either side seemed that upset to be fighting it, so that's a really positive step for the server.

So overall... great war ingame; pretty messy on the forums though...
Let's see if we can all do something fun for the remainder of the set :p
