Actually, that was just me doing it, and I was told to stop by the Master himself (you know, the admin you keep lambasting every time you get the chance). I did it mostly because ppl weren't creating aliases for fun, they were creating them to troll, and to be idiots in general. Plus for some other reasons that mostly have to do with the possible future of these forums. But yeah, that died a quick death.

It's not that the Mehul administration had a separation between ingame and everything else, it's that they had a separation from the game BY everything else. As in, they put everything else before Earth:2025. And then, when they got the chance to work on Earth:2025, they decided to smoke a bowl and use 'reality-enhancing medicine' to pass the free time instead.
