He had 700k turrets...I sent 1.4m jets on a PS and failed. Even after spying alliances and doing calc right I oversent by like 30% (me having 4k acres, him having 9...I was gonna get some land) BS.

you need to add 10% plus double for raw basic break without doing any spy ops. Or add 10% to the calculated break?

He had no wep tech...I had 4% which I didn't even add to calc...like I said im not a noob @ making retals. I like to make em count.

hmmm for starters i would have to ask why you sent 1.4m ps to someone with 700k D.
i like to send a tad over the 10% extra, like 12% maybe, but that is way overkill.

i guess what i'm saying is no hard feelings but i really don't think you sent 1.4m ps to someone with 700k d and failed.
i say this because for starters .. why not send 1.1, 1.2? even that would be overkill if he had D doubled by allies. so i suspect you aren't telling the whole truth if you say you sent 1.4. why waste that many precious jets when you simply don't need to?

i also know that some of us tested this on alpha server and on this server and there has never been a confirmed case of an EE 'pang' or 'qz' with a 10% oversend. you'll fail many if you send 5-9% more. but once you hit 10% or more. never seen a fail.

and i don't think this case is any different

also the only other thing is - did you hit him within 13 minutes of spying him?
13 minutes before your DH on #117, he had a NW gain of 70k or so.

other than that, no way possible you sent over 10% and failed. i am pretty sure the break algorithm does not have any sort of random outcome for over 10%, but that would clear it all up once and for all.

last i asked qz he said 10% over break on algorithm, though

Clearly, you did the calc wrong. You can't ignore tanks and troops.

i'm assuming he'll respond with "he had no tanks or troops"

i forgot to count in 200k tanks in an attack and i bit my toe off after that.

no, I spied and hit within like 2 mins...I don't see how I bounced considering its not something I do very often
