To be completely honest i think this has to do with your good friendship with CX , ex RD buddies, being allied with him, him running a farmer this set - and fluffcetera...

I originally had it at $75 and someone put a pretty large quantity at $74 so I just said fluff it, this round is getting close to the finish, I need to get it sold.

Even at $54, it won't get sold.

BTW, I was attempting the R -> H strategy. It doesn't work that well... too much food to try to unload. If I had just stayed R I probably could've pushed 29-30m.

I had about 80000 for sale at ~$2088. I had forgotten to put it up for only 2 hours when the res/bus was leaping between $1150 and $2799 and I was trying to get on the bandwagon. I bought quite a lot at $1150 and sold some at around $1780, $1930 AND $2100. In the end I made a few dollars, I think, had my casher at 178.2% res/bus and had these extras on the market. Rather than recall them I decided to just leave them there to the end and see what would happen.

I'd like to try running a democracy now that I know how to see the irc market channel and work to improve my market skills. I felt like I was missing something fundamental when I could only get to $25mNW. To easy to blame it on "cheating". I think playing the market well could give another 20%

You'd be surprised what a little market play can do. High-selling tech or food is a major gamechanger (see the last two sets), but you can make quite a profit even as a non-Demo (maybe not a Commie though) playing with techs, oil, and food on a micro-level.

Done properly, and with some luck, you can boost a standard 22.5-23m NW all-x rep finish into the 26m NW range - more if you grab like a beast.
