This is really stupid, if you want a contact than ask for a contact. You just wanted to make threats. I'm not sure why LaF thinks that bullying alliances that are at war or committed to war makes them tough. Personally I think it makes them look pathetic.

Considering that the other LaF don can't even be trusted to honor his deals or keep his word, I'm not convinced that you're worth dealing with. So try to repress the LaF influence that makes you act like a prick and do what a real alliance leader would do: calculate the precious reps owed to the LaF country that lost a shocking 100k units, pass that figure along to EVO's police, and your country will be paid.

it depends how long it's been since the missiles were launched erroneously at laf..

if it's been 12+ hours, you'd think that in that time a evo head would've been online (they are warring ya know) and would have enough time to shoot a message to laf along the lines of 'opps, our bad, lets chat, k?'

You'd also think that a LaF Don wouldn't negotiate a FA deal and then promptly RoR four times with his own country in violation of that agreement. Sometimes things happen that shouldn't happen.

In a previous set I remember H4 accidentally GSing my country a bunch of times while LaF was at war. Guess how many reps were paid? 0. I also remember another EVO member being hit for minor damage by a LaF member. Again, I'm almost 100% sure that we dropped the issue. But now that a LaF country was hit for minor damage, oh no, better threaten to kill the EVO country on AT!

Taking retals as you suggested would be pact breaking, are you sure that you want to do that?

I though it was because the country didn't have any SDI (like lots of laf) and was whining from the massive damage, but they have good sdi and didn't take much damage at all. The country should be bragging about the ineffectiveness of Evo's attacks.

I think its time for Laf to do a LG fs, though 27 lg's wouldn't count as that, it will easily escalate to laf gaining more land.

Heh, I don't think LaF are going to farm anyone at war for accidental attacks, no matter how tough enshula is trying to sound. The day they do, I am guessing they will regret it pretty quickly but LaF are not dumb so its a pointless thread.

I don't think Enshula, like most other laf Dons, would fly off the handle so fast, so if I assume that the post is staged as justification for farming action, then it does make sense.

That said, I would love for LaF to make such a huge mistake as to try and get 27 LG retals for a measely 100k units. @enshula: Yes, I think it is unreasonable to treat these hits as a suicider or some act of war in the sense of the usual 27 retals or death. Things are busy on our side with the war, but it also doesn't seem like a topic that requires a direct chat. You didn't know that we tried to make contact, but a small message with the news and the standard reps requested would probably have been enough.

Also, as slagpit said, when there is some issue like this, it is usual to contact the policing alliance if you cannot contact the original.

I think the most unreasonable part was the presentation on AT. It seemed impatient and threatening over something quite trivial. I guess you got a response, so in some sense it worked, but it seemed in poor form.
