I was puppies and kittens (#88). My first attempt at a top10 in years, tmk. I guess I'll need to start multitapping the countries I grab to have a hope of getting into the top10. And probably enforcing a 24hr retal period.

Top 10 finish is possible with all-x if you get lucky and don't have idiots paying your country a visit.

You think that anyone who can retal you for 1000+ is going to be put off by the threat of a RoR that gives them first strike? Crackers.

Sure. If that player is used to getting top10 countries, and then doesn't get a top10 because he/she tested my policy, got mad and ABed/GSed/BRed my country, then got yanked towards the bottom, that player will be more careful in the future--especially as I don't normally get top10s, as it doesn't really bother me as long as the person who caused it gets what's coming to them.

I've been playing this server since it was formed, and I've never gotten a top10 country. I am willing to wait.

I always play delayed to score cheap tech and I retaled this guy crazy late and I asked him if he was going to do what you are saying right now but he decided to play his turns and finish 10th.

I was sitting on 300 turns and a pile of cash waiting for the ROR :P lolololololololol

It is a good thing that you and I are friends and we do not touch each others private parts cuz there is only 1 guy with more top10s than me on this server so I give 2 flying fluffs about tossing a top 10 away to wage battle especially when I have the FS :)

Nope, I was puppies and kittens 88. I think only two countries actually retalled me really late. If nothing else, enforcing a new policy should be interesting.

There is risk/reward with all decisions. If someone goes all jetter to retal and has minimal turns,spies and nukes I might choose to ROR. Than again if the guy is in position to wreck me I may have to accept the 1k land loss. Its a solo game everyone is entitled there own playstyle.


I finished 3rd this set and only retal I gave was against someone in DR. I couldve taken some big retals late but between bots being so juicy and expecting an ROR I decided against it.
