now i have an excuse being my first set back... i destocked and forgot to build bases to lower my private mil prices...just bought mil tech and was wondering why my private was so high. going early and jumping is worthless now.

At least you destocked. I didn't even bother to play mine for days at a time; when I did I just cashed turns, sold food and oil, waited for turns, repeated all set. It didn't dawn on me that I pretty much didn't bother to destock until about 3 hours after the set ended. However, I didn't really have any desire to play this set anyways. Altogether I had about $50-75 billion cash unspent... I wasn't even trying this set.
