Why can't we capture oil barrels, these are part of a countries resources. We can capture food, money, land, and technology points. But not oil?

Because the game isn't designed to be a perfect simulation of actually running a country.

After all, most of the time after destocking, you probably have substantially greater tanks in your country than citizens.
Still a valid argument that oil should be able to be captured, but if you're trying to base the answer in reality, that's a tough sell.

Guess this all makes sense, you are right, you did make it so we can capture oil with GS, but I guess I dont pay much attention to it, because its such a small amount. But if your a finisher than you are probably grabbing enough oil to continue hitting at a consistent 1k or something. It's definitaly better than nothing though.

I still think its a good point. If you capture everything else on a SS or PS why not add in a little oil.

Yeah I currently have over 1mil oil barrels onhand. I'm sure if someone grabbed me right now they'd be more than a little happy.
