The danes are generally pretty cool. They love their amusement parks (Tivoli and Bachen), they eat smorgasbrod sandwiches with about 1/2 inch of butter, they brew Tuborg beer, they love to walk around naked, and they all speak about ten languages.

Now if only they would become more civilized than their viking ancestors and reinstate Marmite, and stop with this repulsive dolphin slaughter fest, they'd be pretty good folks.

They are pilot wales not dolphins. Its not any worse than how we treat chickens/cows/hogs so why go after them just cause its a different animal?

I don't remember my rite of passage into adulthood involving me slashing at chickens, cows or hogs with big hook bladed knives.

I tend to disagree with that. I know they proofed a lot about logic memory and other usage of human brain. We evolved from monkeys - that means 1 million years from now on, we will be seen as a "monkey" and someone will just say "we evolved from homo sapiens". Eventually, they`ll live in other galaxies, use 70% of their brain not 6%. We shall still live on earth,moon or Europe( the planet), and maybe our most advanced technology might be seen as that "stick" monkeys use to eat ants. Chances are that might happen right now, this universe is to big for only one Civilization, but that will throw the discussion into another area.

Thus what does that mean ? We are just some sort of dominant specie in a finite world. We don`t know what`s beyond a border. Our most advanced space vehicle was launched 36+ years ago and just left our solar system. Is like we just left our house for the first time.

Thus - intelligence is debatable. Extremely debatable. Pain however, is the same.

My best friend (Swede like me) married a really cool Danish girl, and her friends are cool too.

Plus, whenever I go to Copenhagen and take the metro I see tons of hot girls. This makes me conclude that there is something awesome in the state of Denmark.
