Its now more beneficial to maim a country than to kill it, and maiming can easily be done off-chat.

Less killing = fewer war chats. Fewer war chats = much less IRC interaction. Less IRC interaction = less EE community.

Community is the only thing this game has left.

im more pissed at the fact that i cant sell this 5mill oil i have on my restart till turn 100, but i can hit at turn 15?

you admins need to stop smoking the crack lol. the other changes are pretty cool though. keeps the WCLs and strat people on their toes.

You guys are kind of missing the point of my post. I'm warring on Team, have been all set and I'm hitting actively and effectively. But after the 3rd day of the war, I've not even opened my IRC. Now I realize that its not QZ's job to make sure that I can get together with you guys and socialize on IRC - but he ought to realize that without the socializing, my incentives to keep pushing the buttons diminishes steadily.

Also, while I'm fluffing - could you let me read my in-game PM's after I've died? I've missed out on a lot of witty banter because of that. I can steal oil from a dead guy but he can't read his mail? tsk tsk.

I like that it drags out wars longer, as in people have useful countries to play with for a longer period. I like the strategy involved with this approach. Certainly its weaknesses will surface but it is a way to keep people engaged in a war for longer. Usually interest tapers off once the original country dies.

What are you doing simply fluffing on a forum for the sake of doing it. I've been killing countries and their restarts it's really not that overpowered. It wouldn't hurt if the percentages were lower but in general the kill run knocks you down about 30% so when you come back with 70% of that it's really a much bigger hit.

I haven't died but I would imagine it would be more fun than a start up.

Also I agree 100vs15 thing is a bug/oversight that I'm sure will be fixed. Think of it as your in a beta...
