i just moved back home for the winter vacation, and i can't log in to my account anymore. keep getting endless captchas, with this error message:


Catpcha Displayed because you have never answered a captcha with this device! Device ID: 16813


anyone experienced this before?

i'm pretty sure i'm overflowing on turns... and anyway, i'll be gone all of tomorrow.. would mess up my season if lose 100 or so turns

any ideas???

not me so far but haven't done captcha since last week (outside bonuses).

usual things 1st: check if javascript is on, try different browser, try clearing browser caches and last but not least uninstall browser and reinstall it (copy bookmarks etc to safe 1st).

it wasn't me it was a guy in rival so i thought i'd post it :P

i've tried this on two browsers (safari, chrome) and on my phone browser as well. all give me endless captcha. i have cleared cookies etc but still no luck.




(i think one possible source of the problem is that my ISP here at home proxies everyone. i'm sure there's other players from singapore though, i dunno how they get it to work)

Sounds like a cookie problem. Try clearing all cookies.

also when i was on the road and tried to log in from my phone and clicked the delay for 8 hr button it didn't work: it kept sending me back to the chapta screen

ummm.. I did it yesterday!

browser update, browser plugin update, os update, etc.

Try also just manually going to http://www.earthempires.com/forum if you feel like you're in a redirection loop; there is a *slight* bug/oversight in the code with regards to how redirects work so that if you fail a captcha once (or twice?) but then answer it correctly you could, potentially, end up being redirected back to the captcha, even though the game no longer requires you to do one....
