I appreciate the honesty... but there's a difference between admitting to something, and admitting to something only when you think it's going to be imminently proven anyways and you can't do anything to stop it.

could have told you that 3 years ago. His track record or rather his umm non-track record as councilor spoke for itself. Although tbh I figured at most he was just a drunk, in Canada we have a tradition of electing drunks from our first prime minister to a recent premier of Alberta.

He admitted publically to a criminal act but won't resign lol. That's ok, it's better he gets voted out anyway. I'm just happy that under our system the mayor has no power over the chief of police really otherwise things could be very bad.

it's bad that not even the Sun will defend him. It's one thing to be controversial for ideological or political reasons and actually stand for something/have a plan, it's another thing to stand for nothing and not even understand how things work.
He's set the Conservatives back in Ontario significantly. Between him and Hudak I'm sure a Chimpazee would win the next provincial election. At least Timmy stands for something though.

Also, given that he blames the crack use on "being very drunk" and the other revelations/admissions about public drunkeness over the last week, it seems to me that Ford is laying groundwork for a spin strategy based on him seeking help for "alcohol abuse".

But if he thinks that will sweep this under the rug he is sadly mistaken.

canadians are stupid because they like to act like they're better than the trash heap that is america but then they elect a fat conservative as their mayor. the boozing, crack binges, hockey fights, and so on that canada's fat mayor gets up to in his spare time heightens the spectacle to beyond anything the US has to offer.

He and his brother did this whole weight loss challenge... Cut the Waist I think it's called. His goal was to lose like 50 pounds. He ended up losing like 3 and then quit.

Ford's longtime friend and occasional driver, Alexander Lisi, was arrested last month for trafficking marijuana. Ford has previously admitted to smoking "a lot of" weed in the past.

"Yes, I have smoked crack cocaine," Ford told reporters Tuesday outside his office. "There have been times when I've been in a drunken stupor. That's why I want to see the tape. It's awesome that he is so stubborn and refuses to consider resigning. What did he say about everyone else can resign if they do not wish to work with him but he will keep going? Ha. Sacrifice the city so h e doesn't have to fess up and be accountable.

But I have to say that the way he owns up to things - always after vehemently denying allegations - just makes him seem so childish. I was like that. In grade 4.
