lol

I have got same thing cause I have had 0.x% (0.2-0.3%) too low mil tech but getting mil tech high enuf would have cost to me quite much so didn't bother.

you need pretty much maxed mil tech as demo to get 36 bucks bushels sell price at priv.

yea but that 40 points per acre costs alot (especially at near end of set) unless is demo techer then can just tech it to max and keep it there.

atm at alliance mil tech price is 3724 bucks but only 8.6k points and doubt it has higher than 10k blocks at higher prices so price would jump quickly to way over 4k and near 5k.

A discussion of how much military tech is required for a demo to sell bushels on the private market for $36.

well, to sell bushels at $36 on the PM as a demo, you need at least 81.6901% military tech.

$29/0.816901 = $35.50 which rounds up to $36

why not just sell on the public market? as demo there's no taxrate... is it really worth 1mil pts*2200$/pt = 2.2billion$ to be able to private market sell for an extra few bucks maybe?

or does this have to do with jumping at end of set where the demand for food is lower?

more to do with reselling bushels than anything. If you can sell bushels for 36 on your private market then you can buy anything under $36 on the public market and sell it on your pm.

All depends on bushel prices. If you can get to 36 early in a set, you can make heaps of money.

br3nt00: you're asking math questions to a math retard :P i do know at the time the tech would have cost 900-1200 dollars a point and i did not have time to wait for bushels to sell (i never destock in time, it's always a rushed affair)

now the better question would be, did i end up buying enough 35 and lower bushels to make my money back? this i do not remember :P

you should never catch any bushels below 31, unless some people are horrible at math.

hard part is keeping enough cash on hand to be able to keep you SO's up and running the whole set which is impossible imo

Because you can buy from the public market without leaving protection and without using turns (just can't sell to it). Using this, someone who was able to get their private market prices high enough would be able to buy cheap units from the public market and sell them on private for a profit. It does sound like kind of a cool challenge. :)
