Apparently making console games doesn't fit in with their business model and they are leaning towards licensing apps (which for the time being are more profitable).

Highlights:

Escape from Monkey Island
Day of the Tentacle
Maniac Mansion
Star Wars: Rebel Assault
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Sam & Max Hit the Road

And then a bunch of licensed games they published but didn't develop.

I loved LucasArts games.... I remember ordering Rebel Assault from one of those take-home-from-school catalogs in the early 90's. X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Dark Forces, Super Star Wars, Rogue Squadron, Shadows of the Empire, Pod Racer, Battlefront II..... I wonder how many hundreds of hours I spent playing those games.

Shiiiit, I bought my most recent copy of TIE Fighter off of Amazon in August, I was playing a few a missions as recently as last week. For my money, that is the most satisfying space sim to this day. Parts of it are as challenging/impossible today as they were when I was 9, especially the expanded missions that came with the Windows 95 compatible CD. The original game was on 3.5 inch discs. I used to have to call LucasArts tech support to have them walk me thru changing himem.sys and autoexec.bat to actually be able to play the game.

When I get together with one of my friends, we end up playing Battlefront 2, and end up in the same futile galactic conquest. We end up fighting endlessly over Naboo and Dagobah. We end up making the same old peace treaty every time lol.
