I just got back Friday. Spent 2 weeks in a resort just south of Playa del Carmen. Breezey but nice weather. We only had rain one afternoon during the two weeks. Breeze kept it from being too hot.

Currently trying to detox from all the tequila and bourbon I consumed. Pretty bad when the bar staff know your drink and have it ready when you walk up.

They all know my husband. We go every year an its bad when they know you from your past trips, lol

Knowing the head maitre d has its advantages tho, especially when it comes to dinner reservations :)

We stay in Cancun but have taken trips down to Playa del Carmen and the Riveria Maya.

Which resort? I always stay at the Bahia Principe... but it's closer to Tulum than Playa del Carmen. Wow, I need to get my tan on again. lol

Sheep...oh the good old days. When Clowns were Clowns and the sheep were mighty friendly.

Dunno about anything going on down there...my two best buds were there: Jose Cuervo and Jim Beam. Hung with Jose during day and Jim at night. Everything else was sort of hazy.

Btw...Si wasn't just into sheep. Pretty much if it had a hole somewhere...well, you can pretty much imagine.

lol at Si memories. Havent thought about that guy in ages.

We are staying at the Riu Palance Pennisula. We stayed there last year and it had just opened a few days before we got there. Awesome being the first person to sleep in a new hotel bed.

We usually stay in the Riu Caribe which is right next door.

Just a couple more weeks till we are on the beach.
