though have to admit it's way different now without ICQ, IRC, midnight phone calls, skipping work to run a warchat...

nice to spend (and i've timed it) an average of 1 and half minutes a day pressing some combination of explore, build, cash and buy/sell goods/tech every day

is this what normal people have always done in earth2025?

I started in 1997 and I was 13 then. Used to go by the name hao2 in case some of you do remember :)

Earth was known as solarianet then, then it became swirve. I was active from 1997-2001 or so. Went away and came back once in a blue moon. Resumed playing in 2005 I think under this current alias. Stopped when Mehul sold swirve. Came back again in July 2011.

Gotta say this is the best damn online game ever lol.

I am not exactly sure when I started BUT I do remember that Thomas and I started in Camelot at the same time and were squires together and then played in the same brigade and stuff. Strangely Thomas was one of the very first people I remember meeting in Earth and we're still in the same alliance today... Camelot wasn't my first alliance though and I played in the random games and stuff before then so... who knows? 98 at the earliest I am sure but 99 seems more likely...
