I stopped about 5 months ago and had quit for 5 years once prior to this quit. I never felt any better or healthier after quitting, but @ over $10 a pack now a day and pack a day that's over $300 I'm suppose to have extra in my pocket. (that don't happen either???) WHO'S PICKEN MY POCKETS??

im on day 7 of my quit... the hardest part is when i go back to work after holidays. I know it's all psychological at that point, but it's going to be really hard not to bum a smoke or buy a new deck.

Quite a few of my family members have had success quitting by using those water vapor electric smoker things, where other methods have all failed.

Only way to quit is to really really want to. If you still like smoking and still want to but are only doing it for this reason or that... You will go back. You have to absolutely hate smoking and want to kick its mother fluffing a$$! When you have a craving for a smoke thats the cigarette trying to take you away from your kids, its trying to rob you of everything you have. Make it your personal vendetta to not let it beat you, then you can quit by whatever method you choose.

I quit cold turkey back in feb of 10. The only way i could do this was while in the hospital for a week when they fused the bones in my foot and put in a new ankle. I couldn't get out of the bed anyhow. And by the time I got of the hospital the withdrawals were over. Besides I was at that point where I would lay down at night and I could hear and feel gurgling in my lungs :/

My new year resolutions are to become prez of imag, make pontius pirate become my best friend. And in my final deal of the year imag will net and take the Triple Crown while petting cute little bunnies.
