LaFamiglia announcement: Change in Leadership

There has been a change in the leadership here at LaF. Son Goku has stepped down as Don of LaF and has become a Godfather of our alliance. We'd like to thank him for leading us through a rather turbulent phase of EE and for all the hard work and effort he has put into helping transform LaF into a successful alliance. :)

Eugene and myself will be co-Dons of LaF with effect immediately. Please direct all FR matters and pact discussions to Euegene, TOB (Head FR), Candy Man (aFR) or myself.

When one leader gets beat down the next steps in and can maintain the high level of activity needed to keep a group together!

Active leaders = more members.

Thomas, we change leadership roughly once every 3 resets. Avoids burnout on leadership. And we have enough heads to do this.

There are no new heads archaic. Some heads became dons (h347), some dons became ex-dons (sg), and some ex-dons became dons (eugene). That's all!

(Don here refers to the "president", not the honorific title. Most ex-dons retain head access.)

it makes perfect sense. so many clans have half their members as some sort of leaders because they don't want to demote anyone, no matter how inactive they are. Changing things around at the top makes sense, it means you have active heads who are the "only" heads, so decision making is still fast.

(and yes, that is a shot at collab where half of the members are leaders of some sort and AxA stayed on as pres for a little bit too long)

We don't put each other down either in leadership, many of our members have worked their ways up to being a head at some point or another and still play. As we have felt we aren't up to the task anymore we have found good active replacements. Those that have really shone have made it to the pinnacle and have had the pleasure of leading Laf.
