Well, that doesn't follow the law of supply and demand at all.

What happened in the last 2 days to cause the supply of bushels to double and the price to stay the same?

The market does not react instantly and some people also start to stock around when others are selling.

People try to destock while price is high so supply goes up. Cashersthat were stocking waited and stored turns when bushels were 54. It's now 4 days layer so they have to get back to cashing causing an increased demand (at leat for a while, they might store again hoping for even lower prizes soon).

Also: demo resellers artificially keeping prizes at 45.
