irc.earthempires.com is back up now. sorry for the, near, 24 hours downtime. had a few unexpected issues, mainly being that when powering down the node, it was marked as dirty, so fsck came on and took a good few hours to work its way through(ahhhhh!) and then there was another problem with bootup that was sorted a few hours later.

but at least the server's been upgraded anyway, and moved to a better bandwidth provider.
