Obviously we're about 3-4 days from the end, but so far:

Again, this is obviously premature for any kind of final tallies, but I figured it'd be fun to look at how this might change in the matter of the last few days. With private market destocking, I would imagine there won't be huge changes in the numbers of t10s, t25s and t100s for each clan, but obviously the thresholds will be much higher.

If things hold though, TKO is once again showing their pedigree as the top pound for pound netgaining alliance. We at PAN are showing ourselves to probably be the runners-up in that category, and NBK has shown they're capable of solid netting and of putting up some big countries, although their ANW is clearly not as impressive as TKO or PAN (how could you expect it to be from a war clan with 400+ countries though).

Very admirable performance by all three so far, and impressive that CC's been able to put together a buyout that ought to grab them a couple t25s (will be interesting to see if they hold onto their t10 spot though).

NBKs doing more FA chains and buyouts etc. which will pump up there top 10 and top 50 numbers, but probably hurt there top 100 numbers.

Ive had a rough set, so personally ill onyl be putting 6-12 top 100. I also tried running a commie and a oiler which sucked haha. I did catch a bit of the buyout=)

You could individual base NWs or team base it. It doesn't really matter, now does it, ketchup? NBK still put up solid numbers as a warring clan. Thats the only point thats being made until finger pointing started to happen.

A fair amount of them did, but its not that hard to get a decent nw all x with no fa, etc, etc. I should have a block in the 120 mill nw range which to be honest isn't as good as i'd have liked.

When you say FA chain do you mean multiple players banding together and sending FA to one or one player sending FA between their countries?

I have a unaided country sitting at 120mil :) Will hopefully have 2-3 more close to there when I finished destocking. I have learned a lot this set in regards to stocking and destocking, hopefully next decade when we net again I will do better ;)

I agree. BUt if you saying self farming makes it less of a legit finish, then FA chains and market aid should be taken into concideration IMHO.

IT was a great job by you, but saying "hey your countries self farmed" when ignoring coutnries who FA chained isnt fair IMO

apples and oranges to me.. they are both bad in their own way, but i think self farming is waaay worse than fa chains.. its like comparing an M-80 to a hand grenade to me :P

There's still time for me to move around stockpile among my countries if I wish to boost some into the top 100, but since I choose to play legit, and not boost some countries up at the expense of others, I will probably not have any countries in the top 100, although there's a good chance all 16 of mine will finish in the top 200 or top 250. My countries are all legit, its those who choose to boost some countries up at the expense of other countries that are not legit.

the way its looking, 90mil might not make top 100

i should have at least 10 that finish over 80mil and mine are all-ex, no fa chains, or buyout participation

hell, ive only logged into mirc 3-4 times total this set, and only logged into the clan site maybe 8 or 9 times

so there should be no complaining about my finishes at least :P

Sometimes people are just lame in their own ways. Personally, I FA chained a bit to see how high I could get on one country. I was curious so tried, then jumped the rest. I have 1 I havent jumped yet, and thats probably the only legit country that didnt FA chain or recieve FA chain, and I doubt Ill finish higher than 40m on that country due to its a spy bunny :P

But either way you put it, I guess, people point fingers at each other. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Just here to have fun~

So my 16 have to play individually to make my finishes legiit? In that case if any of your countries are allied to each other, none of your finishes are legit.

Obviously what I am saying is a crock of fluff, but nowhere in the rules does it say that if one is going to netgain on this server that they have to spread out their dedication to all 16 of their countries, nor do they have to devote it to 1.

The amount of dedication you put into 1,2,3 or all 16 of your countries is up to the individual. You might give a fluff about how well you finish with each one, but I personally care about my final rank with 1 (and obviously that goal is to finish rank 1).

To each their own.

PS - I'm pretty fluffed up right now and going to bed, if you want a reply of mine here you might need to msg me about it! Although like I said before it's a personal preference of this server (no matter what you do) so not much point.

I've had a very poor set. Even for me.

I agree with most of Deli's comment, too. I was just taking a jab at NBK with their comment that so many of the top 100 used self-farming, when they themselves were also artificially boosting some countries up at the expense of others.

Deli was a bit too fluffed up though, as he didn't realize the distinction I was making between countries cooperating with each other to their mutual benefit being different from countries cooperating with each other to the benefit of some and harm to others. Allying countries up with each other is obviously an instance of mutual benefit (unless its tech leeches).

I don't even have a problem with people boosting up someone else's countries in their own alliance, as CC has done with their buyout. Alliances are allowed, so mutual cooperation inside your alliance, but outside of your countries, is still legit.

But you have to qualify what makes a finish legit. CC cannot claim that their top country is an individual netting effort. People who've self farmed just their own string, and haven't done buyouts do have a finish that is an individual effort, but it is not a solo country effort. But neither type is against the rules.
