LaE declares war on cheating

any clan that has its top four players cheating, lying and whining in every set will be attacked ceaselessly

as soon as we get out of protection

Did I miss something new? Because if not, posting something like this now doesn't even make sense.

Good trolling requires good timing, dude. This is so long after the whole Ice/DM/Jager/llaar thing has been resolved that it's basically just you shouting "Look at me! Look at me! I don't get enough attention in my real life so I'm going to try to get it here!"

While there will probably be cheating of some sort again in the future in FFA, LaE has revamped their leadership and mods are as far as i know keeping an extra close eye on them and the individuals in question. Are juggz/dm/icey still playing ffa?

Two things:

1) Unless you see any reason to suspect that the four former leaders of LaE are cheating in LaE again and getting away with it, none of your analogies are even relevant.

2) Are you seriously comparing violence and killing in the Gaza Strip to jagernacht, DM, ICe and llaar cheating? I call this the Hitler rule, which goes roughly like this:

a) Hitler was a very very very bad man who did things that are unimaginable to the vast majority of people.
b) Only a handful of people are even remotely close to the evil that was present in the crimes of Hitler.
c) Therefore, comparing anyone else's crimes/mistakes to Hitler is excessively hyperbolic and causes you to lose any and all credibility in the argument, because by doing so, you actually aren't taking seriously just how evil Hitler was.

By comparing LaE's transgressions last set to violence in the Middle East, you've just basically broken the Hitler rule.

Sorry Nuke, I may have overstated the sentiment a bit. Outed might be a bit of an overstatement in this case though, he wasn't exactly doing a great job of pretending it wasn't him....

I will say though, I hope this practice continues...whether it involves LaE or not. Stuff like this generally doesn't tend to provide any sort of value whatsoever to the community, and at least in my humble opinion, usually ends up being detrimental. If someone's so scared to say what they have to say from their real handle, odds are good it's not worth saying at all.

I would hope folks would stay away from stuff like the "shoot yourself" comment in the future though. I've lived through enough people doing that that I know I don't want anyone to do it....no matter how much I dislike them.

nukevil needs to man up and apologize

unfortunately the same lack of interpersonal skills and deficit of moral fiber that render the site incapable of dealing with cheaters will probably render him incapable of apologizing to the community

he should apologize to the community for vommitting a spiteful allegation all over the forum without doing the slightest bit of due diligence to determine if his spewage was accurate

this latest failure by the developers points out once again the crying need for a parliamentarian

at the very least a new policy needs to be implemented that the moderator can not upchuck without contacting the persons involved to see if the bileful chunks have merit
