Let's say your alliance was just rolling along very early in the round and you had just placed a few average grabs on a particular alliance - nothing to constitute an FA contact or escalating retals - just the usual stuff.

Then about 18-24 hours later before the retal has been taken from the alliance that you hit, but well before the 72hr window is up, you are declared on by another alliance that sends over a pretty serious FS.

Let's assume all alliances mentioned are established on the server for a while and are both of decent size.

What should the alliance do that has retals to be taken?

Generally, they are dropped, in my opinion a war voids all normal landgrabs. Though if some were made that would require an FA contact reps should be involved.

If they were large "set disrupting" grabs, then reps should be allocated when that clan has the ability to do so.

The alliance policing for you should pay the land reps. Most alliances police because they think of it as free land, I'd like to see that greed get punished.

if he took a hundred acres, you may choose to ignore it. if he took a thousand acres, you might want the reps in troops or jets or turrets, depending on if you're attacking (troops/jets) or if you're being attacked (troops/turrets)

or, depending on prices, OIL!

I would go with the consensus. If it was something serious, you should have contacted them at the time for reps. If it was not anything serious (ie. a few grabs) you should just drop it.

Generally police take over retals from the FS date, not for hits prior to the FS.

As long as Fordy Jr. did not get any genetics from Fordy Sr., and Ms. Ford somehow had some good genetics (honestly whod settle for fordy if they had good genetics), then Fordy Jr. might be doing amazing. if not i highly doubt it.
